Museum Trip

On the 1st of July, room 5 jumped into the school minibus to vist Auckland war memorial museum, geuss why we were there! You got it- we were there to learn about war. My favorite parts were the aircraft hangers (Shown below) and the part where we got to look at and put on a bunch of the things they would have had in WWI. At the museum I learnt that in WWI, slugs saved peoples lives- not kidding! Mustard gas was invisible, so soldiers used to watch the slugs. If the slugs shrivelled up, then the soldiers would know to put their gas masks on and find safety. Did you know about this? If you know something you think I might not, please say so with a comment. Have a good day!
