Well, I've done it now. On Monday the second of August, I released my first scratch project, a very simple game called baseball dodge. The object of the game is....well....to dodge baseballs. You are a cat flying around the screen. Two baseballs are also flying around the screen. If you hit a baseball, you lose a life. Lose all three of your lives, and it is Game Over! If you would like to play this game yourself, I've embedded it. Thanks Phil!
Ka pai David. I love projects where you get to interact with them. It's harder than it looks. Is that why you chose to only rotate the cat 45 degrees? If you embed the project people won't have to click on the link. Do you know how to embed?
ReplyDeleteHi Phil, thanks for commenting. Yes, it is quite difficult! I'm working on a sequel, but it's going to take a while. I don't know how to embed, so could you please tell me? Keep up the blog work!
DeleteThanks for your reply David. In your project if you hit the share button you will see a blue 'copy link' button in the bottom right. Here you get a link or an embed code. You can paste the embed code onto the HTML part of your blog post.
DeleteThanks Phil! I'll try that now
ReplyDeleteHi David,
ReplyDeleteI'm not that good at you're game but it's still fun.
It reminds me of the scratch project you're working on at home, is that the sequel?
You got it
DeleteThat is so cool David, How do i play this game?
ReplyDeleteUse up and down arrows to change direction. However it only changes direction by 45 degrees. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteOh and by the way,my highscore is 69
ReplyDeleteFun game, I got to 32.
