As of the 13/09/2021, sometime around 15:10 NZST, I was vaccinated against Sars-Cov-2 (Covid-19). It hurt. Almost as if someone had stabbed me with a needle! Hang on a sec... Never mind. It still hurts as I'm writing, but it's not the sharp pain of the first few seconds, it's more of a this-hurts-to-move ache. I never realised just how much I use my left arm before now! I have now joined the 69% of eligible New Zealanders who have had at least one dose of vaccine. In a few weeks I will get my second dose, giving me the full protection. (30x less likely to be hospitalised with Covid-19) Yesterday, 54,877 people were vaccinated. Well, haere ra! Don't worry when it's your turn- the staff know what they're doing. Our team of five million will be vaccinated in no time!
Hi David!
ReplyDeleteI like the way you write your blog posts they're really good.
Ka rawe David, I too have joined the 70 something % that are now vaccinated. I enjoyed your humour in your post and had a giggle because I can relate with the left arm ache. What do you think about the countries that are doing booster shots?
ReplyDelete3rd dose for rich = more deaths. No one is safe until everyone is safe
